Afternoon Bite, September 27

Apparently the internet was wrong this morning (shocker, I know!) Dimitri was not hired by the Panthers. He has been hired by an NHL team, as of yet unknown. Either way, congratulations!

What I’m Watching:

Everything will likely be over by the time I’m home, sadly, but I’ll be keeping track of the Nashville-Florida games. The San Jose-Anaheim game might be a doozy.

Player(s) to Watch:

Filip Forsberg (Nashville) has been on a hot streak, so look to him to keep pushing for a spot with the Predators. Derek Roy, Colin Wilson, and Craig Smith (Nashville) will be skating together today.

Roberto Luongo will be in net against Pekka Rinne, so that will be fun. Marc-Andre Fleury will be in net today as well. Eyes are on the goalies, in my opinion.
